Planned Everett stadium for the NE Revolution

Click on the button below to easily create an editable mail to your elected officials and speak up about your concerns over the $91 million dollar taxpayer burden for rebuilding White Stadium in partnership with a private, for-profit sports team inside historic Franklin Park. We believe White Stadium should be rebuilt for the schoolchildren of Boston ALONE. Taxpayers should not subsidize an overbuilt, overpriced, poorly planned stadium that may fail. Please join us in demanding a more suitable, rational approach be considered: Share the Everett stadium! Encourage your elected to insist that BOS Nation (women’s team) and the New England Revolution (men’s soccer team) work out a fair and equitable way to share the Everett location without overburdening Franklin Park or asking the taxpayers of Boston to pick up the tab.

Dear Elected Official and Influencer,

The proposed $91 million taxpayer-funded renovation of Franklin Park's White Stadium for a for-profit women's soccer team raises serious concerns. Why isn't BOS Nation partnering with the New England Revolution to share their privately funded Everett stadium?

Sharing Everett Stadium, as nearly all professional soccer teams do nationwide, is practical and financially sound. Everett's location in an industrial area offers better parking, potential subway access and ferry service, without burdening Boston taxpayers. In contrast, the Franklin Park site, surrounded by densely populated neighborhoods like Roxbury and Mattapan, will increase traffic, air and noise pollution, and strain community resources.

Replacing White Stadium also unfairly limits access for Boston Public Schools athletes who currently rely on it. For a fraction of the cost, $20 million, Boston officials could create a modern facility for students and the community, addressing real local needs instead of prioritizing corporate interests.

Please rally around this shared stadium model for the responsible oversight of public funds and to improve the quality of life for Bostonians.

Sincerely,
